Ice cream cones: crispy until the very last bite
The thin layer of chocolate on the inside of an ice cream cone serves an important purpose: it acts as a barrier between the cone and the ice cream. This helps keep the cone crisp for longer by preventing moisture from the ice cream from soaking into it. At the same time, the chocolate adds a delicious touch of flavor, making every bite even more enjoyable... and who doesn't like the tip of the cone generously filled with chocolate?
The chocolate coating also provides greater stability: it slightly reinforces the cone and reduces the risk of it breaking.
